Hey guys, I
decided to
spend my tax
returns on
computer stuff
(like usual
)
Couple
questions.
I'd like to get
a nice monitor,
I debating if I
should just buy
a HD LCD TV
rather than LCD
PC monitor.
Now my
question, is a
TV rated for PC
usage? Images
stay on the
screen longer,
is there chance
of the screen
burning, etc.
If I go without
the TV and get
a monitor, I am
going to buy a
external
tuner.
Also, any
recommendations
on brands? My
brother has a
Samsung and the
quality is
pretty good.

I'd go with
the HDTV
personally...
on mine, you
can connect
your PC to it.
If the screen
saver is set on
your PC, then
it will appear
on the TV. Most
newer TV's
have a screen
saver built in
as well, so I
think you're
fine there.
As far as
brand, I'm a
fan of Sony.
Those Bravia
LCD HDTV's
look pretty
nice.

I was thinking
the HDTV option
too, guess that
is what I will
do.
Thanks.
