to set a session variable:

Code:

session_start( );
$_SESSION['wha tever_you_want '] = "whatever you want";
session_write_c lose( );

to un-set a session variable you can do something like this:

Code:

$_SESSION['wha tever_you_want '] = "";
session_destroy ();
session_unset() ;

Thank you. I am trying to create a template changer for my members using a css menu for selection of the template while trying not to erase there login session. I was doing this the hard way I can define $Y in a sql once they select it and have it worked out in some sort of if statment to be a range between 1-5 and update div codes with a echo or include. so sorry, but I'll try this the mysql way and post then; if nessary.
